Tramonto su di un piccolo gruppeto di baite nell'alpeggio di piazze sul lago di Como. Si tratta della dimora primaverile/estiva dei pastori di questo alpeggio che allevano e mungono le mucche ancora come si faceva 50 anni fa. È spettacolare vedere la passione con cui lavorano dalla mattina presto alle ultime luci del sole. Con una quindicina di mucche, tutte libere di pascolare ovunque, munte rigorosamente a mano, producono ricotta, burro e formaggio. A queste, si aggiungono capre, asinelli, muli, cavalli, galline e maiali più che sufficienti per la loro economia di sussistenza. Una vita fatta per scelta, non obbligata, che non mi stancherò mai di guardare con sincera ammirazione. Per quanto riguarda il panorama: in centro a destra si riesce a scrgere l'affascinante Pizzo Ledù mentre in basso a sinistra il piccolo alpeggio di Trobbio ma, cosa ancora più caratteristica, in fronte a loro, mille e cento metri più in basso, si dipana il bellissimo lago di Como.
