Gorgeous! An original photo, unique. An essential design and a contrast impossible that you have decided to manage sacrificing shadows. Very good.
Hello Ann.

If I've a small criticism it's that the middle teasels are a little close to the reflected post, otherwise, it's really great.

Thanks very much, Giuseppe! You are, of course, absolutely right in thinking I adjusted the shadows in order to accentuate the effect of the light on the water!

I agree, Tim. There were a surprising number of things to take into consideration when taking this shot - the position of the sun in the overall image, its position in relation to the posts, the shapes that the groupings of teasels made, the moor hen that only made a very brief appearance and the two black swans that I was willing to swim decoratively into my chosen view but remained steadfastly in a less attractive area and so don't feature! I was standing on a bridge some distance away, so I couldn't move the teasels away from that post without sacrificing something else. But I do agree that it would have been better had I been able to do so!

This image looks so much better here on this site.... :)

I love it, two dark bands in the middle, the reflected light, the rest is just outline image (for me) 8-) 8-)
