In una zona della laguna particolarmente ricca di piccoli pesci, il gabbiano che si stava cibando attacca violentemente un intruso. Sembrerà incredibile ma subito dopo l'attimo della foto, facendo perno sul becco dell'avversario, il gabbiano dominante lo ha letteralmente rovesciato sbattendolo con il dorso sull'acqua (tanto per intenderci una "schienata" nella lotta greco-romana).
