A spasso per le isolette della Polinesia Francese capita spesso d'imbattersi in simpatici animaletti. Ho scattato questa foto in un motu di Tikeau particolarmente amato dagli uccelli per nidificare o posare le uova. L'esemplare in questione, una sterna bianca, depone le uova sui rami bassi degli alberi. Senza nido. I piccoli li abbandonano, appena in grado di volare. Camminando è facilissimo vedere uova, piccoli in attesa di spiccare il grande salto, mamme che covano. Io sono totalmente ignorante in materia di uccelli, ma mi è sembrato che la nostra presenza non li disturbasse affatto e ho approfittato per fare alcuni scatti.
