I love this! The clump of trees, the wedge of shadow, the sun..... but most of all the cloud formation!

Thank you Ann. 1/1000th sec shutter unheard of for wideangle but that wind! The travel tripod I hauled everywhere yesterday would have taken off and landed somewhere miles away! It also meant that this cloud formation blew across very quickly, I had to move really fast up and down and round and round this lovely clump.

Are you familiar with this part of the world?

The wind was quite something, wasn't it? I seem to have got stuck on using aperture priority and don't think to change the shutter speed - good plan! My tripod was probably a bit more stable but still very vulnerable - I had to sink it in the pebbles.

I've been to Cranborne Chase but would say I know it - I certainly don't know this particular spot.

Hello a beautiful composition. Trees and human figures in silhouette embellish the shot, congratulations. a warm greeting.
