Editing was done to enhance the subject and setting and not to be photographically perfect. |

Like the contrast between the clean lines of the office block and the more chaotic foreground with its wild street art (notice I didn't call it graffiti this time! :)) and paint speckled floor! |

To me, Ann, graffiti is unauthorised, street art is authorised or at least tolerated. Thank you. |

This looks uphill - it's not, the surface is quite flat. Bet you hadn't guessed that?? |
| sent on January 27, 2016 (13:56)
Really? It certainly does! I'm not sure I can get my head round that! |

10mm lens, really quite close at this end, you angle clockwise so that the building (normally falling inwards and backwards) is actually skewed outwards - hence it looks uphill! If you know Cardiff, you'll know that all of the main part of the city is flat. The struts of the Millennium Rugby Stadium can be seen in this one and that ain't on a hill! But I wouldn't worry about it - it all adds to the dramatic angles after all! I did put a proviso saying that this photo was not photographically accurate! |

Thanks for the info, Tim - I'll have to go try something like that! I'd not thought about tilting the camera when using the wide angle, so that the building is at such an angle and seeing what happens with the rest of the image. Not going to happen today, though - atrocious weather out there......feel an indoor flower macro coming on..... |

Ha! That answers the question I had asked elsewhere! |
