at 250mm, 1/200 f/5.6, ISO 800, hand held.

He probably isn't Spanish, as this was taken outside a restaurant in England! Have posted under portrait rather than 'Street' because I have caught him just as he was looking up at me! I grabbed the shot and then very quickly pointed the long lens at the building in a pathetic attempt to prove my innocence! I didn't look back at him and never did see him again! Taken in October 2013.

Ha! Stolen is the right word, Peppe! But if you don't try, occasionally...Thank you

Brilliant! As a photo, I love the intensity of his stare, the composition and the light on his clothing but I also have to smile at your diversionary tactics - we've all been there! I bet he wasn't fooled by your efforts to look innocent! :)

Of course he wasn't fooled, Ann - I knew that very well, but somehow it would make me look like a fumbling tourist rather than someone who might post his picture online for the world to see..... Ooooops... (this was also a Blip at the time)

Haha! I wonder what he would think, if only he knew....... :))

Well, he shouldn't dress up so photogenically - that's plain asking to be photographed!! IMSO (In my selfish opinion)

Agreed! :)
(I'll have to remember that abbreviation......)

And don't forget that this was with 250mm lens on DX = about 340mm eqv, so I was hardly in his face - and thankfully he had finished his meal and wasn't eating, so there is some dignity remaining - and that's a pretty fab set of whiskers - and a beret too - what's a poor snapper to do??

Indeed! I'd noted the whiskers......they'd have looked impressive whatever he was wearing!

It appears they are wondering, what is he doing?
