Ha pareti in pietra ornate di velari in seta ed è coperto da una volta a crociera con mensole figurate, copiate dal coro di San Giovanni di Saluzzo. La piccola stanza è dedicata alla preghiera dei signori, che vi si ritirano in raccoglimento per le proprie orazioni, accompagnati solo da una dama o un gentiluomo di camera. Davanti all'immagine sacra è posto un inginocchiatoio scolpito a pergamena, sull'altarolo poggia un libro d'ore. Le pareti dell'oratorio sono coperte da un tendaggio (velario) in seta, annodato con lacci a una bacchetta in ferro sospesa all'altezza di due metri. La decorazione stampata in rosso e verde riproduce il disegno della veste della regina Semiramide, raffigurata nel ciclo degli Eroi e delle Eroine dipinto nella sala baronale e copiato dal Castello della Manta. L'uso di apporre velari alle pareti delle stanze, e in specie dei luoghi dedicati alla preghiera, è ampiamente documentato nel medioevo da immagini (miniature, dipinti) e inventari. Talvolta, erano imitati con la sola pittura sulla parete, drappeggiati e mossi a fingere il tessuto. Il museo ha ritirato nel 2010 in deposito, per ragioni di buona conservazione, i velari più antichi, eseguendone contemporaneamente le copie oggi esposte. L'immagine sacra sospesa sopra all'altarolo raffigura l'Annunciazione. Fu dipinta da Rodolfo Morgari, artista formatosi all'Accademia Albertina di Torino. Dal 1858 fu "pittore e restauratore dei Reali Palazzi" ed eseguì la decorazione di varie chiese, tra cui S. Teresa a Torino, la parrocchiale di S. Maurizio Canavese e S. Sebastiano di Biella. Le figure della Vergine e dell'Angelo sono disposte entro le valve di un dittico dalla cornice intagliata e dorata dall'ebanista Pietro Rosso. Il libro d'ore è un manuale di preghiera per laici, composto di testi liturgici, brani evangelici, orazioni. La dizione "libro d'ore" deriva dalla pratica medievale di leggere determinate preghiere o devozioni a diverse ore del giorno. Destinati a committenti di alto rango, i libri d'ore sono ornati di miniature figurate, anche a tutta pagina, e di fantasiose miniature decorative al bordo dei testi. Ogni volume raccoglie testi diversi. Il cuore è costituito dalle "Ore della Vergine", una serie di preghiere e di salmi devozionali da leggere in onore della Madonna alle ore canoniche. Un calendario con l'indicazione dei Santi e quattro brevi letture evangeliche iniziano solitamente il volume, seguiti da una o due preghiere alla Vergine (Obsecro te e O intemerata). Dopo le Ore della Vergine, vengono le Ore della Croce e le Ore dello Spirito Santo, brevi, costituite da un inno, un'antifona e una preghiera. Infine, i Salmi penitenziali con le Litanie e l'Ufficio dei morti. Il manufatto nell'oratorio riproduce il Libro d'ore Deloche, manoscritto in pergamena del 1465 figurato dal Miniatore del Principe di Piemonte e da suoi collaboratori, di proprietà di Palazzo Madama ?
