What a beautiful scenery. Nice sun rays thru the clouds. The only comment is that the tree on the right is a bit distracting.

I agree that at sunset, perhaps with an interesting sky, this view, already very beautiful, it would be fabulous.
For this you tried to use a graduated filter for the sky? toglieresti brightness and will give greater emphasis to the clouds and those rays that filter. I think it lacks a little 'contrast.

Hello Teresa!
the Graduated Filter you mean in post production or gnd to physically apply?
filters because of the kind I have not!

To be applied in pp, when you do not have the filter real ;-)

after'll definitely try! even if they are not very knowledgeable!
PS I have almost never used the graduated filter, and the few times I tried I got poor results!
tips on how to apply?

Thank you,
Matthew Legovic

I prefer the filter in Lightroom, I find it more effective than that of Camera Raw in PS.
In any case, apply the filter, select the band on which you want to intervene, taking care not to choose too close, then one would have otherwise too abrupt a change, and then games on the parameters of exposure, contrast, brightness and saturation, until you find the result that you like best.
You could get something like this:

keep in mind that I worked on a low resolution jpeg files and starting from raw sicurament the result will be better ;-)
I hope to be helpful

I will try the original raw!
I had that shot made by combining 3 shots with Photomatix, perhaps that was missing a bit of contrast!
thank you so much advice, after I open lightroom and try to work on it! as soon as I get home!
teresa thanks again!
