ellissima statua in bronzo Mater Naturae fatta collocare dal Consiglio comunale di Portovenere sulle rocce prospicienti la "Baia di Lord Byron". Questa statua, realizzata dal famoso scultore SCORZELLI, lo stesso autore del pastorale che Sua Santità Giovanni Paolo II° ha portato in giro in tutto il mondo, è stata voluta e promossa dal concittadino Dino Clerici che con grande tenacia ha coinvolto le Autorità locali per la realizzazione e la collocazione del monumento bronzeo. Per inciso, anche la porta dell'antica Chiesa di San Pietro, storica icona di Portovenere, è stata realizzata dal grande artista Scorzelli per iniziativa di Dino Clerici e famiglia.
