Thanks for the suggestion. With the resolution of the 70D you can not go more than 4-5 seconds with 50 (2-2.5 with 100 f / 2) without using the tracker. With the tracker without a cam alignment I should get to 140 seconds (I have not tried it yet but I hope to do so soon 8-) -D)
Also unfortunately 50 at rt for its characteristics suffers a lot of coma, that the corners (also the frame aps-c) distorts the image (rigel betelgeuse and are an example of this thing in this photo)
Now I have a 50D I have to change with ir-cut or full spectrum (are undecided).
