Domenico Modugno nacque il 9. Gennaio 1928 in Polignano a Mare. #LungheEsposizioni #Notturno #NightPhotos #Notte #LongExposures

For me Domenico Modugno, his extraordinary vocal timbre, his great personality .......
They are and will forever be the maximum that Italian music has ever produced.

His voice rocked as you cradle a hammock stretched between two trees in the spring. ;-)

I'm sicilian.
Who declared that it was only an honor for the Sicilians.
Polignano a Mare is a beautiful place. 8-)

Hello Felix,
I fully agree to its excellent singing qualities, not taking anything to the sympathy of the Sicilian (from personal experience that I have nice), but think if it had been in Sicily and Puglia he said he would ...
The villagers sicilianuzzi a little resentful would be true?
I also like Modugno for work are furi Polignano, but remains and will remain my city. No one will erect a statue in my honor. : - |
Amicably,
Rinaldo

You can not object to your right
Who knows why he did it.

It seems that he had been mistaken for a Sicilian, when he was beginning to have success with the songs sung in the dialect of Lecce, which in some ways resembles a little to the Sicilian. We should however understand that time is not doing well own the copyright. We have forgiven :-)

Thanks Mauro Dear!
Roberto I know and also for his stay in San Pietro Vernotico in Salentino, began singing in dialect Lecce and for this he was mistaken for Siciliano since the Leccese resembles the Sicilian ;-)
Even my parents have lived for several years in San Pietro Vernotico, my father was for a time the prison guard of Lecce.
Greetings
Rinaldo

I like cutting and shooting. From what I see the statue is not doing just fine and maybe needs a minimum of maintenance. It is unfortunate that no provision is made in view of the reconciliation took place between the city and the great singer.
Kudos to the document.

I like cutting and snap. As far as I see the statue, it does not go well and maybe needs a minimum maintenance. It is a shame that we do not see the reconciliation between the city and the great singer. Congratulations to the document.

All true in your story about Domenico Modugno, I would add for hearsay to Lampedusa in the year 2000 during my stay, who had greatly mad before having the second stroke because he could not go down with the car to his house very close To the beach of rabbits, where they spawn the Turtle cart Caretta
Compliments
