It's been dry but dull here and I've been really busy & snowed under with paperwork today - nothing new and exciting to post, so I've had a bit of fun with Elements - it's okay not to 'like' it :))
I know I could post a photo taken earlier in the year, but to be honest, I'm not feeling great, so heading to bed early for once!
Did you get your new lens today? If so, I hope you had fun with it - I'll catch up with what you've posted tomorrow! :) |

Sorry to hear that you've not been feeling great. I'm still feeling a bit not quite right after my 3 hours in Andover from 6-9 a,m yesterday and am now planning my location for sunrise tomorrow. The deal for the new lens intended fell through as they couldn't price match and the trade in lens I was offering was of less value than they originally thought. But in my financial situation, there was no way I could afford a ?650 lens right now anyway. I am expecting a delivery of a ?104 almost mint condition Nikkor prime lens for DX tomorrow though, but won't be posting anything from it as is being delivered to a neighbour whilst I might be away for a sizeable part of the day. Perhaps you'll get something good sunrise as it might be misty. |

Thanks, Tim - that's very kind. Maybe we'd both recover from our ailments quicker if we didn't get up and out so early! Having said that, I still got up for sunrise today but I only stayed out for a relatively short while. And I've found a new place to photograph sunsets from, a little nearer than my usual spot around Poole Harbour, although there wasn't any colour in today's. I will be back!
That's a shame about the lens you were hoping for, Tim - one for the future, I guess! Hope you enjoy your replacement! |
