Alghero. La città può vantare la presenza di un'affascinante passeggiata fortificata sul mare rimasta quasi completamente intatta. Il primo sistema di fortificazioni risalente al tredicesimo secolo lo si deve ai Doria, a cui fece seguito la dominazione catalana che promosse il restauro e l'ampliamento di tale sistema difensivo. La maggior parte dell'impianto odierno però, risale al sedicesimo secolo e alla successiva dominazione Aragonese. Il percorso sui Bastioni è molto suggestivo e suggerisce un'estimabile vista sul promontorio di Capo Caccia, il famoso gigante di terra che dorme adagiato sull'acqua.
