Flying lemur (colugo)...

Borneo 2015 2 - Mammiferi

con Canon EF 1.4x III, 1/200 f/9.0, ISO 400, hand held. Specie: Cynocephalus variegatus

Certain species and certain specimens is a miracle to see them, let alone photograph them with the background and the perfect light.
Congratulations and thank you for us to see these goodies absolute ;-)

I understand the hard work you've done over there, I went to Madagascar less similarly, rainforests umidissime and dark, elusive subject and always with branches and twigs in the way. Very different conditions than African parks or our own huts. However, at least for me it went well, but I think for you, having seen and photographed even if not perfectly native species unknown to most is priceless. The naturalist and photographer is happy ....... well ;-)

I appreciate your shot for the inherent quality and the feedback learning very interesting. I share your "disappointment" in the Amazon rainforest because I've found the same (and expected) conditions. Get some decent shooting was a business, but it was worth absolutely worth it.

Quoto Alessandro, certain catches go far beyond the mere technicalities, I'm sorry that the journey was very fruitful photographically, but if the few shots that you say are at this level .., avercene only and fully repay the journey, even this species I knew there, so thanks to you I know something new, the compliments are usual and now expect the next, a greeting Ricky. ;-)
