SPIEGAZIONE TRATTA DAL WEB La particolare colorazione è dovuta alla luce rifratta dall'atmosfera terrestre che, come un prisma, scompone le frequenze luminose, facendo passare solamente, come nel caso del 2-3 giugno, un colore rosso tenue. Il suo colore può tendere al rosso quando è bassa sull'orizzonte perché l'atmosfera assorbe le radiazioni del colore blu ma il fenomeno scompare quando si alza. Ad essere precisi, però, va ricordato che non è realmente rosa, ma arancione o tendente al rosso. Infatti, il nome attribuito alla Luna nel mese di giugno, è un nome puramente convenzionale. OSSERVAZIONE Viaggiando in tangenziale abbiamo subito notato una luna molto bassa sull'orizzonte con una colorazione che assomigliava moltissimo al rosa. Tempo di fermarsi e prendere i cavalletti che già la tonalità cominciava a tendere verso l'arancio. Non è passato molto tempo che, alzandosi la luna, il colore è virato al giallo e poi al bianco classico. FOTOGRAFIA La foto proposta non presenta alcuna postproduzione per quanto riguarda il colore. A seconda delle modalità di scatto prescelte (esposizione, diaframma, iso) la tonalità poteva farsi più scura divenendo di un rosso più o meno intenso. Questa foto rappresenta, fra le tante, la tonalità che si avvicina maggiormente al colore effettivamente osservato.
