con Canon EF 2.0x II, 1/800 f/5.6, ISO 800, hand held. South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Specie: Loxodonta africana

Utilizzato monopod Inizio del Crossing del fiume Luangwa da parte di un branco di elefanti. All'uscita sulla riva opposti me li sono trovati davanti alla jeep. Dopo il bagno nel fiume hanno fatto un bagno di polvere.

Thanks ...

Stef @ It was 6:34 am, the sun rose at about 6 or so. A good time to take pictures.

Marco @ I think I started two weeks after your return. The river during the 6 days of my stay will be 'dropped by about half a meter or perhaps beyond. The adult elephants have swum, I think that the depth was between 2 and 3 mt.

Thanks Massimo
I arrived on the scene at 6:26 and I took the last photo at 7:06.
Nice to see the elephants swim, bathe and finally cross. Meanwhile two young men were playing, disturbing not just hippos, for more numerous in the river, that given the presence of bulky pachyderms had no choice but to move.
