To Hom She ha 80 anni e fa parte della tribu' dei Daai. Nell' antichita' le donne di queste tribu' erano riconosciute dai Principi che vivevano nei confini con lo stato Chin come le donne piu' belle del Myanmar. Ed e' per questo che gli uomini Chin per far si che le loro donne non venissero prese di mira dai Principi o da altre tribu'confinanti le resero meno desiderate facendogli applicare questi tatuaggi. Quindi nell' eta' dai 12 ai 16 anni circa (eta' vergine) le donne Chin venivano tatuate in faccia, pratica vissuta come vanto e tradizione da loro stesse ma che dagli anni 60 circa e' andata a scomparire... Ogni tribu' ha un suo specifico tatuaggio diverso dalle altre.
