I'll tell you that I find very nice effect "moving clouds" that you see in your photos of the Duomo of Siena. ;-) So I will try to replicate the first exit with BeFree, increasing shutter speeds without risking any blur.
As for the house, I share. It would have been better without, definitely. But I wanted to compose the scene focusing on the basilica without including too much sky. So in the end even the house in the lower left was inevitably included in the scene.
The only way to remove it would be to kill it before the shot! :-D:-D:-D

Ciao Nunzio, ti ringrazio per il consiglio.  In effetti, finora non ho potuto cogliere questo effetto cui ti riferisci proprio perchè non avevo ancora il treppiede. Ma credo che non sarebbe affatto male. Anzi! Ti dirò che trovo molto bello l'effetto "nubi in movimento" che si vede nella tua foto del Duomo di Siena. Per cui cercherò di replicare alla prima uscita con il BeFree, aumentando i tempi di scatto senza rischiare alcun micromosso.
Per quanto riguarda la casa, condivido. Sarebbe stato meglio senza, sicuramente. Però volevo comporre la scena ponendo al centro la basilica senza includere troppo cielo. Per cui alla fine anche la casa in basso a sx è stata inevitabilmente inclusa nella scena.
L'unico modo per levarla sarebbe stato quello di abbatterla prima dello scatto!

la foto per essere stata realizzata a mano libera non è male , tuttavia col senno di poi avrei realizzato una composizione differente :
Il soggetto, per i miei gusti, è troppo centrale ed avrei provato a decentrarlo, spostandolo in alto a dx. Non conosco il luogo, tuttavia avrei provato a sfruttare il contrasto di luci ed ombre, tra la facciata della chiesa (ben illuminata) e le case in primo piano, attraverso un'inquadratura più larga che includesse gli edifici in primo piano
p.s
volendo realizzare un'inquadratura centrale, avrei abbassato il punto di osservazione per dare un senso di "maestosità" alla chiesa e conferire una maggiore profondità alla scena
