con Canon EF 2.0x III at 240mm, 1/800 f/8.0, ISO 1600, hand held. Bayerischer Wald, Germany. Specie: Lynx lynx

Focale 240mm, no crop, ombre e luci in PP. Critiche e consigli sempre ben accetti. Ambiente controllato. :-) #Controluce #Orange #Bosco #Bagliori

You did well to share it! Great shot.
Shadows created by backlighting are well managed, the 6D helped you, but if you want in these cases can help you to lose its setting on slightly exposure.

I visra or who uses a sigma 120-300 multiplied, I always use a 6D of 200L with x2, and sometimes I find myself short. You as you are?
Thank You;-)

+2/3 stop during shooting with exposure reading "spot" and picture style of "landscape"; - )
Thanks anyway for the tip and for the compliments, much appreciated! :-)
As for the sigma, I'll tell you, I'm fine, smooth is a fairy tale, multiplied kneads a hair on a distant subject and the AF slows down a little (although I've got to try it on 1DX, 5dIII and 7dII and was another story, I think it is aided by the AF module of 6D in AI SERVO that leaves something 'to be desired), but always within the limits of acceptable throughout.
Conversely has the considerable weight, which for hunting itinerant you really feel, always better to use a monopod with the result or, better yet, shoot from capannor fixed.
Have a great goal (the 200L), but I agree with you that many times for birdlife 400 are short on FF.
Too bad for the distance, I would have gladly done trying.
Thanks again, and in the meantime if I can still get useful as well;-)
Hello Daniel, good evening

Alex
