at 400mm, 1/640 f/6.3, ISO 800, hand held. Specie: Ciconia nigra

Meglio in HD, C&C ben accetti !

Beautiful Riccardo,
excellent yields varied colors on the plumage that is often completely black, in this case the raking light and warm in the morning the highlights very well giving the picture a more beautiful.

Ricky, beautiful close up! Like the pose, the fine detail, the plumage display, the iridescent colors, and the great setting. Well caught. Wally

Thanks again to all! ;-)

X Steff: last year, passed through at least four black storks, three were ringed with probable origin from the east, I think this is the only non-ringed, hopefully good for the future to increase the copies! ;-)

X Gianni: I confirm, landed, and two steps away, this was the only shot that gave me! ;-)

X Mark, you're right on the little contrast, my choice, the background of reeds too close too would also darkened the subject, I decided to bring out the beautiful colors of the stork. ;-)

Greetings to all!
