Beautiful scene with a discreet light, decentrerei a little left trimming also part of the sky and patience if the horizon ends quite central, convertirei bn in a strong enough with blue-cyan quite low and further scurirei the top of the sky but is only a personal view;-)

Alvar here is what I said in the other, I made some small changes and small on the subject, unfortunately I could not reduce more the sky and I could not go below the horizon line and then came around Central:

Ok wide angle to see the water in abundance but then why not 2/3 of the water? Ok, you could not, and then amen, why not restrict the subject?
Obviously just my considerations. If you like it as well as you did, I'm going to discuss, it was just to give you a personal opinion.

Hello,
Fabio

Well ... All in all I think, in fact, Catherine might be right. I'd be curious to see her in bn

@ Fabio.labianca
I could have, I would have held the line of separation between reality and reflection (the water line) perfectly central, doing half and half.
If I close, I would not have "space", I could not show the immensity of water that had invaded the floodplain
I saw your drawing, I have some very similar to your crop, but "are narrow": at that time, if I had a 12mm, I would have used that to put even more water.
Already in the second version I posted I was sorry to give up a bit 'of water.

Caterina
Welcome, Ms. landscapes!

decentrerei
I understand that
convertirei in un bn strong enough with blue-cyan quite low
here go beyond my understanding ... what a
bn strong enough with blue-cyan quite low
?
For
strong
you mean thwarted?

We intend to strongly contrasted, unfortunately do not know the software that you are using but Lr and Ps exchange the bn acting on the individual colors or in the second case also the color channels, therefore you can get an image where for example in this case on blue tones are rendered much darker than they would simply desaturate the image, similar to how they would be using a red filter in a recovery bn, but did not have to have the effect of clearing the warm tones.
I hope I explained myself, writing post is always difficult, in front of the PC is a snap.

I tried converting to BN that I consider "strong", ie much opposed.
I do not mean absolutely the application of color filters while converting in BN, so that part I have not dared own.

a nice photo on the edge of the documentary. Proposals for Catherine are reasonable and have the rationale to darken the sky and the water that appear a bit 'clear: it increases the drama, in a sense. In Juventus were using a red filter to darken areas of blue and blue (the sky in fact). The filters of Juventus (antediluvian era of analog photography) served to darken the complementary color and lighten the same colors: a red filter cleared the darkening red and blue (the complementary precisely) making dramatic skies and enhancing the clouds (when there are). With photoshop you can act by darkening the corresponding channel and acting like I have a red filter, selectively darkening the sky and bringing out the little house. A greeting. Claudio

@ Cla.san: thanks explanations: as written above do not have any knowledge of the effect of color filters (and my experience is limited to compact film that I had as a kid, so no trial but only souvenir photo, and even many unfortunately (with hindsight!))
I have to try to play with individual colors, you puòfare with Paint Shop Pro, but not knowing the theory ... sometimes I did, without understanding "what" was doing.

Nice document with natural light! The composition may be handled in many different ways ... in any case beautiful!

Personally I like how you composed it, to tell exactly what happens during the full of the Po, at this point is with this light.

Thank you.
Reseeting it now, the sky is actually a little too clear.
it didn't look like that to me at the time... but I get older and my tastes change!

Beautiful idea and realization, I wonder: only possible point of recovery ? Or deliberately done so?
I thought I'd make it by putting the horizon line in the center.

[QUOTAS] , the only possible point of recovery ? Or deliberately done so? [/QUOTAS]
No, it is possible to go down a small street but going down a lot of tall weeds, dung etc and dirty the lower part of the image, and I had not brought the necessary to cut them.
I passed even a few days ago', that's why I know the situation well.

Beautiful photo, I prefer it to the previous one for the light and appropriate crop; Beautiful colors and quality.
