Today sushi sent on November 26, 2014 (11:14) by Alexposure. 19 comments, 666 views. [retina]

at 500mm, 1/640 f/8.0, ISO 1600, tripod. Specie: Tachybaptus ruficollis

nice catch and rather well defined, would have deserved a resume point lower ... but I know from experience that it is not always possible, less than lurk with shed
Rather iso 1600 for shooting at 1/640 is strano..c'era little light? Click program that uses usually (AV, TV ...)

Here I am! :-)
Hello Marco;-)
Always shoot in aperture mode (AV), the light came and went (the sun peeped out and there were shadows very marked in this pond), for what the ISO 1600, however, I saw that all things holding them well 6D from;-)
The PDR was forcibly higher because I could not stoop, and with a subject so close I give you absolutely right that the eye is not worth much.
But being sharp enough and caught a moment which I thought was cute, I wanted to share it with you anyway:-)

I agree it is a very good catch, the yield at high iso is remarkable ... and given the conditions he managed optimally light, bravo!
