As they say if you want fa' the ammerican , "crisp details".
Maybe I would have underexposed by a stop, to enhance saturation even at the expense of total readability.
Good job

Nice assortment of shades, but in my opinion still a bit "unripe" for an intensely autumnal foliage. If you have done it now, I would try it again in a fortnight. If it gives me so much it should be exceptional ;-)
Greetings.

Nice job

Thank you Gianluca for the comments.
The shot was taken exactly by underexposing by 1 stop, then with DxO I used the Smart Lighting function Slight level that opens shadows and blacks at a moderate level, I gave a little microcontrast, lowered the sharpness of the lens, I didn't touch the colors as saturation and vibrance, I just removed brightness from greens, yellow and orange not having used the polarizer in shooting and therefore had a mirror effect.
I reworked by removing the Smart Lighting, now it should be as you suggested

Yes, in fact in my area the foliage is still "unripe" this is a shot from the end of November 3 years ago but it was a strange season, the foliage never arrived and then when it arrived it didn't last long and was very "empty"!
I don't know if I will return to that area this year, I have other destinations in mind for the foliage.
Greetings
Luca

So it
looks perfect, even if it only opens it in hr and I can't see it as a whole ;-)

Try to go from my foliage 2024 page/gallery without clicking on the
EDIT link: I checked from my smartphone, it opens it at full resolution but at the top there is the writing "click to go back to the previous page" and you have the overview, from PC the link should lead to the image at full vision but not at full resolution, then I check anyway

In fact, from iPad it allows me to adapt to the page. I confirm that in this version it has gained a lot in saturation, and the exposure is perfect. Bravo Gianluca (Giallo63) who saw us right ;-)

So put the "Like!" on the correct photo! :-D

This should be the right spirit of the forum, not the default "I like it!" or compliments regardless.

Twenty years of Fuji Velvia 50 will have served something! MrGreen

I also tried DxO's film simulations, in short :-(
I used Kodachrome 25 and 64 Professional, Ektachrome 64 and 100 professional, I switched to Velvia the last years of analog ... as well as using it even now!
