Absolutely it is okay that one rendering is preferred to another, when there are mixed light conditions, even at a somewhat particular time, I usually take a sequence of shots with different WBs plus others with a Clear Night filter, however the "colder" development is only due to the different WB during shooting, not by the filter, in this case the images with the filter did not satisfy me as a result and I trashed them.
