L'immagine, frutto del volo (regolarmente autorizzato dell'ente Parco) di un drone DJI Air 2 s, ha ricevuto nel 2024 da parte della giuria dell'IBC (Italian Biodiversity and Conservation Photo Awards) il riconoscimento quale migliore scatto del concorso nella categoria fauna. Così come da me espresso durante la premiazione e in Appennino Film Festival 2024, nonché da alcuni colleghi e amici, tengo a sottolineare la massima moderazione, etica e cautela nell'utilizzo di uno strumento che oggettivamente può risultare di forte impatto sulla fauna e non solo su di essa. Il fotogramma è stato frutto di un fortuito incontro dato che il fine lavorativo era quello di riprendere alcune scene paesaggistiche in alta Val Seriana per scopi documentaristici. Al tempo abortì una ripresa video in favore di alcuni scatti tra cui quello qui mostrato.
