Questa immagine e "Un Solista" sono immagini drammatiche, taglienti, portate oltre uno sviluppo del B/N classico.
Queste immagine se scattata in pellicola, avrebbero avuto i bianchi ancora più bruciati o le ombre più chiuse e in pellicola ci sta questa bruciatura negli alti contrasti.
Se l'abitudine è la visione del digitale, queste bruciature danno fastidio, ma sono una provocazione per rendere la difficile posizione di un artista sul palcoscenico sotto ai riflettori che non perdonano nulla.
In altre situazioni invece come nel sassofonista è ricercato il buio dell'ombra sul soggetto con le punte di capelli e barba che si illuminano per rompere il buio. Tutta la galleria corre su questo concetto tranne uno scatto di Un Solista che resta in ombra e la figura del direttore del coro dietro sembra illuminata come se fosse una lampada.
