, 1/500 f/8.0, ISO 500, hand held. Samae San, Thailand.

#Carbonaio #Cappelli #Mestieri senza tempo in #LuoghiAbbandonati #LifeInThailand #ThaiPeople #Hands #Oriente tronchi e #Rami #CountryLife

Here we change jobs, we have met the fishermen, the sugar cane pickers, and now the charcoal burner, a character that seems to belong to a novel of a century ago. Beautiful detailed story, no man's land, the hut, the difficult and specialized work of the man and finally the wife who goes around the houses of the village to sell the product of his work. I am reminded of scenes seen as a boy, when the wives of the fishermen of Bagnara, a country then certainly not rich and tourist as it is today, took the train and came to sell the catch in the city, in Reggio, walking through the streets of the neighborhoods with baskets that they carried balanced on their heads. You have taken an excellent image that in addition to the construction of clay with the subject nearby, also includes a portion of the forest inserting the character in a complete context. Hello to the next one.

It can happen that we Westerners are moved almost to pity when we see these industrious oriental "ants" working in this way to earn a living, but I believe that sometimes these types of reasoning can only be a way to cleanse our conscience of guilt.
Because they keep smiling anyway ;-)
An excellent testimony of a life that seems so far from ours, but basically so close. Because history can always change.
Congratulations always Fabio.
A warm greeting

... Because they still keep smiling

That's right, this is one of the things I always verify, or at least often, when I do this kind of meetings...

A very fair and careful reflection that I fully share...
Beautiful comment, which I appreciate so much ...
Thank you very much Renato.
A warm greeting to you

Another glimpse of life well cultured and well illustrated by the interesting caption.
What is always striking, in these images that may seem raw to us Westerners for the difficult experience they tell, is the strength of the smile of these men and women who lead an existence so difficult and so different from ours.
Bravo as always Fabio, congratulations
Elisabetta

An absolutely shareable reflection and a careful and precise analysis on the shot that makes me really happy ...
Thank you very much Elizabeth.

It seems like a tale from another time... But it is the demonstration that happiness is not having!

To tell the truth, even in the presence of a land registry, you can appropriate real estate illegally ...
That said, Kig is a true "King". In fact, so much fidelity, industriousness and dedication, accompanied by a smile of satisfaction, are virtues that only in a royal soul can harbor ...
He enters the cave, the image comes alive. As per your prerogative.

Actually it would be abusive here too, but Samae san has a particular story about this theme, maybe one day I will tell it on the occasion of another shot ...

I spent with him, and his wife, only a few remnants of that hot afternoon but the impression I had talking together is just what you have well described ...
Beautiful comment that I particularly appreciate ...
Thank you very much Giacomo.
hello
