I thank you all for your enthusiastic comments of which I feel very honored, but especially for your very welcome visits to my photos and these handcrafted scans that - I repeat! - compared to the results of the photo scanner I have, are much better for depth of color and sharpness/definition 8-)
I hope to have given an incipit to someone who has the same needs as me and wants to imitate me and, indeed, do better to get digitized slides with little expense and good speed 8-)
A warm greeting to all of you who have the patience to dwell on my shots.

Fabulous portrait, well deserved compliments. The scans you are proposing are excellent and allow us to see these beautiful photos of you on film.
A question. Is your LED panel 'cold' light?

Beautiful photo definitely something is lost, and so how will the original dia if we have this result?
an appreciation for sharing the realization of the contraption , I have a thousand dia that I have not seen for 30 years , you put me want to try, (on the cold winter days that will come, of course ;-) )
Really

Fabio thank you. 8-) Especially for your very welcome comment. As for the panel, the color temperature indicated on the package is 5600 K. 8-)
The automatic white balance in the room does the rest.
I've also tried with sunlight and other light sources, from about 4000 K to about 7000, in addition to the TTL flash and even in these cases the automatic white balance works quite well. I say quite well because at both extremes there is still a slight hot or cold dominant and the balance of white should be corrected manually by setting it for the actual color plouring temperature of the light source.
Cold, direct and rebounding, I got scans a little too lacking in detail in the highlights and no significant improvements for everything else. 8-)
Hello and thank you again for your attention towards me :-)

Giorgio, thank you for the visit and for the very welcome attention towards me. 8-) I can confirm that the original slides are obviously better. With the scan, scanner or self-built contraption, you still lose something. Much less with contraption, though ;-)
Provaci, worth it 8-)

I thank you all for the very welcome attention to my handcrafted scans that are clear evidence that I could make some decent photos when it was all more complicated (fixed sensitivity film, Hand shutter loading, manual maf, etc...) while today that is all simpler (ISO of choice and pure film - see Fuji - automatic maf, always load shutter with bracketing and burst as well, wide and varied shooting menus, etc.) I can hardly ;-) ;-) ...
This envious witch!!! :-D :-D
Good weekend everyone, Charles
