, 1/160 f/9.0, ISO 500, hand held. Specie: Hipparchia fagi

Hipparchia fagi (Scopoli, 1763) - Famiglia Nymphalidae - Sottofamiglia Satyrinae - Apertura alare: Da 5,6 a 7,2 cm.

I don't know if it's a collaborative subject or not, you've certainly done a brilliant job of not sacrificing detail anywhere on the wing page; the perch doesn't seem like the ultimate in sophistication :-D but vanessa seems very welcome ;-) .
Compliments

Hello Pier, you're right, the fig I put on purpose, the Hipparchia fagi are gluttonous. In my part, however, there are many in my part this year. Thank you for the compliment, a warm greeting, hello Fabrizio

Beautiful and well detailed subject, great background and colors! The perch aesthetically is not the best, but you also know butterflies have their tastes and a mature fig is definitely a treat!
Compliments, hello, Alexander

Thanks of the flattering comments. "The perch is not the best" is true but photographing only during the hours of activity of butterflies, using a very mature fig is one of the best ways to attract them.
A cherished greeting, hello Fabrizio
