I always try to get a sufficient pdc to have the subject in focus but at the same time I close the diaphragm to the bare minimum to limit the diffraction and use the lens to the best of its ability: if I close the maximum diaphragm loses a little sharpness.

Cerco sempre di ottenere una pdc sufficiente per avere il soggetto a fuoco ma allo stesso tempo chiudo il diaframma il minimo indispensabile per limitare la diffrazione e utilizzare l'obiettivo al meglio delle sue possibilità: se chiudo al massimo il diaframma perde un po' di nitidezza, se chiudo meno alcune parti del soggetto sono troppo sfocate.
Devo anche aggiungere che in questo caso, come in alcuni altri, mi sono dovuta avvicinare molto al soggetto perchè il piano sul quale era appoggiato il cestino non era molto ampio, quindi per evitare di ritagliare la foto, ho trovato questo compromesso. Se mi fossi allontanata un po' sarebbe stato più nitido, ma l'immagine ritagliata sarebbe stata più piccola.
