Sì in Onsernone la situazione penso sia ancora più problematica che in altre regioni ticinesi. Pure io ho ereditato diverse baite del genere nella mia valle ma riuscire a mantenerle tutte è impossibile. Spesso non vi sono strade jeeppabili e quindi bisogna usare necessariamente l'elicottero (che costa non poco) e certamente bisogna preservare l'architettura tipica (quindi tetto in piode per esempio). Purtroppo qua quando una baita crolla, il giorno dopo vengono già rubate tutte le piode cadute e quindi dovresti acquistarne di nuove per fare dei lavori! 
Da questo lato sono più che favorevole alla costruzione di nuove strade jeeppabili: sarebbe più facile la manutenzione e la costruzione di baite, il trasporto di animali per gli allevatori sarebbe facilitato e ci sarebbe un pronto intervento in caso di incendi e danni ambientali!

Nel caso specifico i problemi sono altri: la stradina è stata costruita 30 anni fa, ed è transitabile anche in auto.
E' una questione di mentalità: non si molla nulla, piuttosto si lascia cadere. Da 40 anni sto cercando di acquistare un mucchio di sassi accanto a casa mia, ma niente da fare. Le teste qui sono più dure del granito... obs... anch'io sono di qui 
Non vi è l'obbligo dei tetti in piode, infatti 30 anni fa, essendo spiantatissimo, il mio l'ho fatto in tegole di cemento... lo so che non è il massimo, ma almeno la baita è rimasta in piedi. Gli altri hanno fatto di ben peggio!!!
