Concordo sul fatto che l'effetto lensbaby possa piacere o non piacere, è una cosa personale, per me è un modo di fare e vedere la fotografia e trovo che si sposi bene con il mio punto di vista, difficilmente infatti esco con altre lenti, se non ho esigenze particolari (es. Luoghi molto bui dov'è ho bisogno di lenti con grosse aperture, bisogno di velocità e quindi autofocus, etc), e questo la dice lunga su quanto sia affezionata a questo sistema.
Questo piccolo preambolo per dirti che l'effetto lensbaby (anche se chiamarlo effetto non sarebbe proprio corretto, ma dipende proprio da un progetto ottico della lente, è come se un 100 mm con lo schema ottico di un 100mm producesse un "effetto tele" o un grandangolo un "effetto grandangolo"), è difficilmente replicabile in ps, in modo così naturale e organico come esce dalla lente proprio perché generato da un software e non da uno schema ottico, non solo, fare questo al pc occupa molto tempo soprattutto se vuoi un buon risultato, mentre con una lente impieghi il tempo di una messa a fuoco manuale.

Non vedo dov'è il guadagno -'sempre che piaccia si intende - nell'usare il software rispetto ad una lente.

Andrea ;-) In effetti è giusto ciò che affermi , ma è un tipo di lente che personalmente non piace , in questo scatto ne trovo gradevole l'uso e l'effetto prodotto e come ti ho detto mi piace ed aggiunge una marcia in più.
Ma in altri contesti (parlo in generale anche in ambito ritrattistica) ;purtroppo sebbene lo scatto sia frutto di una lente e non di un (software ) a me da l'idea inversa ovvero che lo scatto sia post-prodotto a mezzo software (ovvero dà una idea del bokeh digitale che producono i moderni smartphone).
Ho usato in passato con adattatore l'helios la lente tirava fuori un bokeh "swirly" . la lente crea un effetto strano ma davvero bello, capisco cosa intendi "modo naturale ed organico"

Nei ritratti non fa impazzire nemmeno troppo nemmeno me (ma io non faccio molto testo perché non.sono una ritrattista  )

È questa resa sí che è perfetta per i ritratti perché puoi avere il viso tutto a fuoco e il corpo no, ignorando le regole della pdc.
Più ci sono altre lenti, soft focus (velvet), swirly come l' Helios (twist e Burnside) , insomma si fa presto a dire lensbaby ma mica tanto per chi conosce queste lenti approfonditamente
