Bosque de Pax, Costarica. Questa specie vive nel sottobosco ad un altitudine di 650-1750 m. Si ciba del nettare di fiori generalmente lunghi dai 30 ai 50 cm e larghi 2-8 mm. Foto scattata con l'ausilio di un set di flashes che hanno congelato il movimento delle ali.
