con Canon EF 1.4x III at 358mm, 1/640 f/10.0, ISO 3200, hand held. Specie: Canis simensis

Etiopia.

Always nice wolf, sooner or later I'll try again. Your photo is very beautiful for the prey but also for the expression that shines wolf.

In fact, perhaps the above, it was revealed more of the picture because they are more important.
Initially I did not want to do "pistolotti" to raise awareness among visitors of a forum like this which are presumed to naturalists and nature lovers, but then I thought maybe this photo seems one of the many that you make to the wolves and then evaluates only the ' appearance ... in reality this image tells of cultural situations in which the difficulty of the decision or perhaps best of resources makes it impossible to solve the problem.
Without a change of direction it decided soon (I can not quantify the time) there will be no pictures of this lovely, little wolf, looking very charming :-) :-)
I want many more participants to this thread not for visionare the photo but to capture the problem.

Thank you Maurizio for intervention and the details: in fact has always been interested and spent on this issue that will lead to the extinction of the Ethiopian wolf. I knew of this situation by reading his speeches and others and one of the main goals of this trip with him and others was just watching him closely before it was too late. I repeat I did not want to emphasize in a specific thread these analyzes but certainly the threat of extinction of a species is more important than uina photos, however successful. As mentioned I was hoping for more participation in the discussion if only to honor a forum that defines natural as well as fptografico.

Anyway thank you all for your visit and for the appreciation of the photos you may not do full justice to this wolf & egrAve; much better looking! :-) :-) :-)

At the first visit with Memy I think around 2010, the estimates were of 600 specimens ...
But since we're on a photography forum section fauna, I can not help but notice that this beautiful picture attracts a few visits!
