Thank you guys, your comments are much appreciated. Quetzal is not an easy bird to catch as you must go on the mountains of Central America. They normally leave between 1800m and 2700m their plumage vary according to the light. They can be green, blue and of course red and white when looking their belly face. They have a yellow beak. The male has two long feathers. I've been lucky enough to see one couple early morning and later afternoon I've seen 4 males with one female. It was really a spectacular show to see them flying in the trees. I'm going to publish more of my best photos to show you how this bird shine with the light. Greetings, Francis |
