Hello, brave and modern Marco Polo, you are right to travel, the whole experience is to put in your backpack. At 5000 meters in shirt sleeve! Strong! Greetings, wishes 2016-

thanks a lot Franco.
Yes, despite the altitude the temperature was pleasant though not quite summer by the middle of August when I went; but after hours and hours of buses under the sun of the high mountains, with turns, stops for fords streams and various holes, there was desire for fresh air.
auguroni to you

Alemt09, travel in general, but especially in those countries, has always meant, at least in those days, see something in constant and rapid change, almost impossible to repeat; that has always been my philosophy of travel (not that it would be less interesting to repeat it today).
Sometimes the experiences were very hard and definitely not for everyone, but some discomfort, if so we would like to call, surely repaid, at least me, the result then brought into memory.
Thanks go of appreciation.
Thanks also to you Andrea, fond admirer ;-)

Also to you Maurizio, certainly a complex transit. I recently read that the Karakorum Highway is no longer recommendable due to the presence of fundamentalist pockets.
It seems that Bin Laden himself and his followers had settled there.
Then, unforgettable the vision of Rakaposhi and Nanga Parbat, two of the great 8000 meters :-P
