Joseph, John, Peppe, thank you so much :-)
The Val d'Aosta, with all its side valleys is full of these picturesque views. Due to the presence of pastures edge-road is also easy to find good places to shoot. The only question is always where to give up the car, but with a little 'ingenuity and a few curses of other drivers, resolves: -D

Interesting composition, clearly well thought out! And well it has done. I like the dark shades / autumn ... The only question is always where to give up the car, but with a little 'ingenuity and a few curses of other drivers, resolves -D ... -D then here you have used a drone ...?! considered the pdr ... wow! wow! -D ...... Something you straightened the sides ... or something? ... 8-) 8-) Hello dear! ;-)

Filiberto, Fulvio, Fabio thanks for the steps and for the kind words you left on this shot.

Fulvio,
I like the dark shades / autumn
you saw well ;-) To enhance shooting post I created a copy layer and created a mask only on houses. Then I merged with "multiply" to get a more dark than the landscape. (There is even a tad bit of glow).

To make you understand the kind of light that was the day I enter a view of the sky to the south:
[URL =] s18.postimg.org/8d8nv840p/DSC04168dr.jpg
Strange sky with lenticular clouds wow! [URL =] s30.postimg.org/bxswz32qp/DSC04168d.jpg
However, compared to the typical cIELO mouse gray of overcast days, here there were glimmers of strong light, which allowed a good workability in post.

have straightened something on the sides ... or something? ...
No, of aps-c 39mm do not give particular distortion.

The drone the point of time, but is a bit 'pricey for my pocket .. The road on which I was on the other side of the valley, a little above the town.

The drone ... ah executioner faus -D: -D

Thanks dear !!

Hello to all ;-)

Looking onto the village, picturesque and unique!
As beautiful as you've got the effect dark!
Good evening and see you soon, sonia

A nice effect that recalls both the dark walls dirtied by soot from the chimneys!
I like, hello. :-) :-)

Brilliant, I had not thought, but you did center. These places evoke the fire of the fireplace.
Compared to a lot of my shots with stone, where I always raised the sharpening, just to enhance the roughness of the material, here I held a fuzzy appearance. Dark, but soft and warm.

Thanks Pussycat!
