Ciao Fausto, ottimo documento. Per rispondere alla tua domanda, non credo che i corvidi siano stati in grado di uccidere un rapace agile e veloce come lo sparviere, piuttosto penso che sia morto per cause naturali (cibo non sufficiente, incapacità di procurarselo, malattia, ecc.). Ammettendo che siano tutti figli degli stessi genitori, 3 pulli sono un po' un numero limite, è possibilissimo che uno su 3, seppur giunto allo stadio giovanile, non ce l'abbia fatta.

To answer your question, I do not think that the crows were able to kill a raptor agile and fast as the sparrow hawk, rather I think it died of natural causes (not enough food, inability to procure, illness, etc.). Admitting that they are all children of the same parents, three chicks are a bit 'a number limit, it is quite possible that one in three, even reached the stage of youth, do not make it.

Una bella e dinamica immagine, molto naturale. Alla tua domanda posso solo rispondere che, a detta dei contadini, le Gazze sono ancora più aggressive delle Cornacchie.

Grazie a tutti per il passaggio e per le risposte, quando mi capitano situazioni come queste mi sento proprio un ignorante , anche su animali cosi comuni da noi in Italia. La risposta di Alessandro mi pare la più logica e probabile. In effetti nei rapaci capita spesso che i pulli , nascendo in tempi diversi , crescono in modo differente e i più piccoli hanno poche probabilità di sopravvivere. Grazie a tutti e Buone Foto.

The answer of Alexander seems to me the most logical and probable. Indeed in raptors often that the chicks, born at different times, growing up in a different way and the smaller they are unlikely to survive. Thank you and good photos.
