Una buona visione degli ommatidi, però avrei aggiunto qualche dato in più come diaframma e ottica, i quali sono importanti per meglio interpretare lo scatto.
In questo caso avrei visto bene l'uso di un pannello diffusore per attenuare l'ombra permettendo così una maggiore visione del soggetto.
A good overview of the ommatidia, but I added more data such as iris and lens, which are important to better interpret shooting.

Se non sbaglio hai usato la tecnica del Focus stacking per aumentare la profondità di campo. Dovresti però aumentare il numero di scatti (per una minore distanza tra le parti messe a fuoco) oppure chiudere il diaframma; perché hai anelli fuori fuoco sull'occhio. A certi ingrandimenti la distanza tra uno scatto e l'altro è veramente minima

If I'm not mistaken you used the technique of Focus stacking to increase the depth of field. You should, however, increase the number of shots (for a shorter distance between the parties focused) or close the iris; rings out because you focus on the eye. Grazie a tutti!! In effetti si parla di frazioni di millimetri! Per quanto riguarda i dati di scatto ho usato un ottica da ingrandimento rodagon montata su soffietto, circa 20 scatti fusi in post produzione, f5,6 il diaframma
