, Posa B f/2.8, tripod.

Thanks Luca !!
I'd say pretty good, although I was a little weirded two things: 1. It 'a version 2 release date. Usually I do not appreciate these things. What is a mere marketing move or means that the first version was not precise and the seamless?
2. The grid cross the viewfinder (in cann. Polar), if the ioptron is placed perpendicular to the ground, is twisted with respect to the horizon line. You can change, and I did realigning it, but I do not know if I did well. That said, to 200mm can not get past the minute and twenty snap.
I hope I was helpful and clear:-D

Vesper, with 200mm you need autoguider;-) between the two versions Startracker does not change anything, version 2 includes tripod (marketing tactic), the heart of iOptrino is always the same:-)

Hello Beppe thanks for the ride. For autoguiding serves a hype but no serious? How does it work exactly? You have to point the polar? Serves pc right? you can do it manually and / or led by the pc?

Hello Vesper, if you go through my photos I trovarai one that portrays my setup, everything is written in the comments. No need to spend a fortune to have a Equatorial filming wide field, a single solid tripod on which to ride inside everything. To safely use your SLR with 200mm and stretched-by shooting times even beyond 5 minutes each, it takes you a guider type stand alone, that makes all alone without the help of the PC and management programs , the only one able to do so and that it is also of excellent quality, is the Lacerta MGEN (Tecnosky go to the website for details). In practice the tripod mounts the iOptron, the camera, the seeker with polar mounted on the guider, here is how it goes mounted autoguiding on a seeker without many pretensions

unless chand uses the small frame iOptron Smarteq Pro as my supporting a RJ43 socket with here dialogues via cable with autoguiding, in this case you do not need anything else. ;-)

ps But eye to the overall weight, the Startracker has limitations.
