Joseph... but the Sciardana...!!
Where we put them, they went to Egypt and were Pharaoh's personal guard.
A Pharaoh is probably of Sciardana blood.
Conquered and partly Conquerors.
I am always proud of course but who among the peoples has not been subjugated by the Roman Empire that has made history for 1,500 years. :-o
The composition is certainly beautiful and reminiscent of the proud warrior people but with too dark colors and too gloomy clouds.
I tell you let's forget about it yesterday and think positive.. From May we return to breathe and in memory of our and ancestors, I as a lowland man I offer you a greeting and I invite you to visit the terramare of Montale for a story that comes from a very far away.
I ancestors are there ;-)

Some stories don't erase. They are seen and still feel, on the skin, in the heart. Sardinia has not changed since then. He maintains his pride despite luck too often turns his back, fights against predators who even today want to plague her, does not ask for privileges, wants honor.
What did the storms manage to do, the Romans ...? Nothing, nothing.
Bella fotografia, Giuseppe, tells well what you write in the caption, tells well what you breathe when you are lucky enough to experience your wonderful Island.
Cavalli, obsidian, art and culture but also refined knowledge to build such important structures with dry stones, structures that after thousands of years still do not give way.
Bella storia, Giuseppe, but it's not a fairy tale.
Compliments and thank you, I was pleased with your sharing

Great Joseph, almost moving your pride and your people's pride. That's a great story. But I didn't know about the cataclysm story.

The shot is great, as you usually do, the caption just as much, though...... "Roma caput mundi"......, bye.
