Excellent photo-historical document of great value, both in the shot and in the in-depth caption!

A valid testimony that you have proposed to us to remind everyone what the real sacrifice is... the one at the expense of one's own life! Today, however, we cannot renounce trivial habits to stem an invisible enemy...
Ciao
Gaet.

Marco:-P happy to meet you and to receive your compliments, for the useless deaths in Monte Piana the sacrifice on both sides did not lead to a winner at the end of the war but only suffering to those poor boys. Justin:-P nice words in your comment that flatter me, thank you for reading the caption it is important for me to know that it is a good job. Francesco:-P thank you very much for the liking and positive judgment of my work. Gaet:-P your feelings about the sacrifice of those boys is exciting, let's remember that during the First World War the invisible enemy was among them and at that time it was called 'Spanish' and reaped victims without firing a shot just like today. Today we are not willing to make sacrifices to fight the invisible enemy... Rosario:-P hello dearest, a greeting and a special thank you for your visit and congratulations, see you soon. A greeting to all of you dear friends are special, I thank you from the bottom of my heartSorriso Loris, 1

Great image per se and great document. My grandfather did it, he didn't want to talk about it and if he did the tear was there..... Thank you! Alexander

Alexander, although we can imagine what was happening in those trenches is never enough for what your grandfather and the other boys have endured in those endless months of war, his tear was justified.
I thank you for the attention given to the caption and photographs I was very pleased with.
A Greeting Loris

Loris, then I don't comment anymore.... My grandfather's younger brother touched on the 2nd war he became a fighter pilot on the 4th wing on folgore MC 202 - dispersed in the skies of Malta : ( multiple meaded for acts of heroism. 10 fighters took off and they had 30.
I knew all this as an adult doing research, my grandfather kept all the pain inside, he never told me anything. These were men.

Alessandro you are free to comment several times, your testimonies are important and your research on your grandfather's brother testifies that your loved ones were men of value like so many of that time, today there is only menefreghismo.
Thane again, pleasure to have made your acquaintance.
A good evening Loris
