thank you for the Gsabbio passage and the opinion that I will certainly take into account. In the end it will count the visible result when I print it, which is what matters to me; but I think you're right, a little darker plays up the atmosphere better that night

I prefer this one.
A greeting Renzo ;-)

Personally, I just don't like nights that look like dark days (a bit the opposite of how they used to do in westerns that to simulate the night they filmed by day underexposed by 2-3 diaphragms).
The evening or dusk must be such and nothing else.
Fore... going to print... I would not guarantee the result.

Gsabbio: I agree with you. the scene is quite faithful to what was seen that evening: the problem was that the village was totally in the shade while the sky, as you can see, was still quite bright. but still you could see little. printing for me is always "another thing" and I waste a lot but much more time than I lose, for example, to post the photo here on juza. In print even the smallest detail is seen and must be at its best

Do you print at home or do you have a trusted printer?
I ask because I never mold (I know... it's very... very stupid) but the few times I had printed (by Snapfish) I got totally fake copies in the colors.

I prefer the darker version that seems most appropriate to reality.
The composition is very suggestive.

Thank you Roberto, I also prefer the darker version, probably even more adhering to reality

They are many beautiful both but I prefer this version......
hand, as the light fades it increases the magic and it is a pleasure to enlarge the beautiful frame and imagine falling into that maze of lan alleys!
Thane... I didn't know this beautiful place.
A greeting, Barbara.

I prefer this, the other details are more obvious, but this one has a beautiful atmosphere and more three-dimensionality. Congratulations Claudio.

I only read now that you print your own photos, you are very good congratulations!
Concordo con te which is the only way to have a vision faithful to the original....... Despite having trusted printers ..... to be sure of the result, before doing enlargements I get an audition and then we decide together on the color tones. However there is always some aspect that could have been more precise..... but this even when many years ago I printed alone in black and white!
Saluti.
