What masterpieces our ancient ancestors have left us, not always adequately safeguarded, excellent Pinitti. Hello

Long live the Romans.
Many beautiful this Arch, sin that it is between cars and traffic lights and signs that disfigure the image.
Beautio description of this moment of the past.

Joseph, I was aware of what you rightly noted.
In my shooting compositional idea, the disturbing elements served to reinforce the contrast between new and ancient, as the title.
The Arc is so enveloping with the surrounding urban fabric that it is virtually impossible to photograph it without disturbing elements.
For that, I thought that one way to represent it in a "digestible" way was to point out as much as possible such contrast.
Of course it is, and I agree with you, that the nuisances are very invasive.
Hello and soon.

Bistrate in every way...
Sake very well in the caption a kind of biography of this monument that, all in all, at least is saved and protected by a cover not foreseen by our ancestors.
I'm going to take a shot, at the best of the context.
a greeting.
