Bigia grossa femmina.

Bigia large female. There is, but what about your eye? I do not see white cream ....

Giovane Bigia grossa.

Paolo

Young Bigia big.

Roberto, the clear eye barbatrucco applies only to adult males ;-)
Even the adult females have the amber eye.

That is a beautiful picture even tell you:-D:-D

Bravissimo Ale.

Thank you for pointing this out. The various texts give the white eye cream for male and female, brown for young people. But a direct experience (on the field) think is worth much more 'than the usual theory. In this case, because the beauty of the shot and the specimen very interesting, we are faced with a picture of some importance. Bravissimo Ale.

Alessandro

Thank you very much, and very surprised with personal satisfaction of your comments! a nice manual vule me there but I think it is not enough to aprofondire the enormous experience that you have to compare the different subjects with accuracy, which aprezzo lot.

Alessandro

ciao sergio ..................;-)

Roberto you have already answered Phala!
in females and young of the iris is never as white males,
In addition there are a number of gradations in the first year in young people based on whether they are males or females varies the intensity of the light iris

hello sergio .................. ;-)

Ciao Sergio, ti ringrazio.

Hello Sergio, thank you. For some (many) birds do not have a direct experience and I have to base myself only on the texts available. I think, in our case, this is the first year that individual, however, I have viewed several photos of adult females and, although not quite as white males, the iris is very clear. We have, for example, some shots also evident in the sixth volume of ornithology Italian Brichetti / Fracasso. I realize, however, that among females and young people. recognize the warblers and 'damn hard. Just today I had a little bird a few feet from the cabin, it was equal to a Lesser Whitethroat but it was only the call of the Warbler. Luckily I could not photograph it, it was so close. Otherwise we'd be here now again trying to figure out ..... :-D:-D a salutone.

sergio ...........;-)

E 'is ... with silvidi I will have the sacred texts at hand otherwise it lasts at least for certain young .....
in fact they are the ones who give more trouble ...... then some photos do not always show the reality is enough to light a strange or a bit of saturation in more than able to identify certain species becomes difficult ... then if we put the strange and hidden .......... ....... be 100% sure is tough ..... a salutone to you Roberto.

sergio ........... ;-)

Ciao Alessandro.

Hello Alessandro. And 'quite clear by now that, as they said Cavalier_na (not said but he did understand), Albatros and Sergio Paolo Phala, it is Bigia large female, probably the first winter. In the new photo on the elder (now end up accidentally also the name of the plant ..:-D) the distinctive features are even more pronounced (strong beak, long and sharp and also the iris seems more "appropriate" to this species). I had assumed first Whitethroat and only as an alternative dun large. As an excuse I could say that I had seen the picture only to the phone but overall, I think I should quietly cospargermi ashes on their heads .....: fconfuso :: - (All the best, Roberto

Alessandro

Hello Roberto I corrected the name of the subject. Thank you so much and I was pleased that one of my photos has created a lot of interest. All these shades I have not to recognize these birds. Thank you again to all for your interest.

Alessandro
