And 'the second time in a few days I run into a Burano picture with a caption in red warning text. This is another case: www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=1858544&l=it
I appreciate and share your heartfelt concerns and on this Italian island that .. is not that he does not know, can no longer stay afloat, not this way.
your photo is perfect for what you had to be denounced, also for the colors to be faded flag that you chose.
a warm greeting Rosamaria

Giuseppe, Sergio, Jumor73, Donato, Paul, Palborgg, Claudio, thank you all for the transition, your reflections and indignation that unfortunately share. Tempera bona veniant .... hopefully. To all a warm greeting. Rosamaria

Hello Rosamaria, the picture is very beautiful, the colors chosen by an Artist; but also a picture that makes you think! ...Good !
Unfortunately I must fully share what has been written by Paul and Palborgg, who made a comprehensive and realistic unfortunately our poor Italy.
Best wishes, Veris :-P

very beautiful this photo, and as for the rest, it is amazing that an island of this kind is in these conditions.
I was there 3 years ago .. I think what impressed me was that all of the restaurants (I think almost everyone) were managed by Chinese. I saw an Italian waiter, I could not believe it .. I came in, and then realize that the property was still Chinese (also that).
Not to make racist, but obvious that the identity of the old Burano is lost. people run away from this country, especially young ... and we will remain with those who instead are colonizing.
Italy wishes ...

nice picture though: - /

Thanks Veris and Massimo. Even the restaurants are now all in Venice, or nearly so, in the hands of foreign operators and as young people who run away, I know, my daughter last year went to Australia and New Zealand this year ..... ...
But there are very strict rules (rightly), enter with the permission and you have to work for at least three months on the farm if you want to stay there ....... Congratulations to all of us, really.

Rosamaria ... Burano only reflects the reality of the situation in Italy ... nothing more, nothing less ....
the main street is in a completely different situation, like many other parts of the island, he abandoned it, but only in some homes .... and no, the restaurants and the lace shops are controlled mostly by local; The situation is certainly less alarming the nearby larger island, Venice, where the empty houses are increasing dramatically, and where hotels, gondolas and taxis are increasing exponentially ......
without counting the lodging houses by number .... amazing .... and then not to mention the Chinese people ...: -o
back to your picture I just have to make you my compliments, beautiful throughout.
also found in the flag, it faded ..... but can even worserare ..... :-(

Your beautiful image is just as eloquent caption that accompanies it ... Unfortunately our "beautiful country" is in a decline, without wanting to be too pessimistic, it seems to be irreversible ...
Greetings, Roberto.
