L'incredibile maestosità delle Dolomiti, patrimonio UNESCO. Ci troviamo nei pressi del rifugio Auronzo dopo un hiking durato ore con una ascesa piuttosto impegnativa, arrivati in cima, però, si apre difronte uno scenario incredibile, le cime dei Cadini di Misurina velate per un temporale in arrivo si mostrano a noi come un quadro! Stupito ed incredulo di quanto possa essere perfetta la natura e di quanto essa, quando non sia contaminata dall'uomo, può esserlo ancora di più! Infatti sono poche ormai le vette e le cime che non siano “colonizzate” da impianti di risalita e con il progetto per le olimpiadi denominato “Carosello” con quasi 1.300 chilometri di piste e circa 500 impianti di risalita tra vette e valli dichiarate patrimonio dell'Unesco questa purezza ormai sembra fortemente minacciata! Nel suo documentario David Attenborough dice “ogni giorno è in atto la tragedia della scomparsa dei luoghi naturali e della costante perdita di biodiversità. Due catastrofi con un elemento comune: l'essere frutto di errori umani. Il ghiaccio sta scomparendo dal Pianeta. L'habitat dei poli è prossimo al collasso. E noi ne siamo la causa: noi abbiamo riscaldato i poli; noi abbiamo alterato l'oceano; noi abbiamo abbattuto le foreste. Abbiamo messo a ferro e fuoco il Pianeta: metà della terra disponibile è coltivata. Il pianeta è nostro, è gestito dall'uomo per l'uomo. Non abbiamo lasciato spazio per altro. In media, dal 1950 ad oggi, la metà della popolazione animale selvatica è dimezzata. Il Pianeta non è più così selvaggio. La maggior parte del mondo non-umano è andato, sparito, eliminato, e siamo stati noi.” RIFLETTI, NEL NOSTRO PICCOLO, SALVIAMO LA NOSTRA CASA!
