Queste tombe scavate nella roccia si trovano nella città di Fathiye, l'antica Telmessos Datata verso la metà del IV secolo a.C., la Tomba di Amynta è una tomba licia, ovvero appartenente al popolo dei Lici, uno dei popoli più enigmatici e di cui ancora oggi sappiamo molto poco. Oggi contiamo circa 20 siti che ci permettono di conoscere un po' meglio la loro insolita architettura funeraria. Le più affascinanti sono quelle scavate nella roccia , soprattutto nei pressi di una scogliera. L'ingresso, monumentale, posto nel punto più alto della scogliera, preceduto da una lunga fila di gradini e scolpito in modo da riprodurre il portico di un tempio ionico, porta a far capire l'importanza di questo personaggio (Amynta, figlio di Ermagios), di cui oggi rimane solamente un nome inciso nella roccia.
