La Consulta per la Valorizzazione dei Beni Artistici e Culturali ha finanziato il restauro delle statue delle "Quattro Stagioni" realizzate in marmo di Frabosa da Simone Martinez, nipote di Filippo Juvarra, nel 1752. Le statue erano destinate alla Reggia di Venaria Reale, da collocare nella Galleria di collegamento tra l'Appartamento del duca di Savoia e la Cappella, in particolare nel rondò, l'ambiente progettato dall'architetto Benedetto Alfieri. Ai Giardini del Palazzo Reale sono trasferite nel 1810 per volontà dell'architetto Giuseppe Battista Piacenza, intenzionato a creare un museo imperiale di scultura. L'intervento conservativo ha recuperato il raffinato modellato delle quattro sculture, tenendo conto che si presentavano in condizioni molto precarie, a causa della loro collocazione all'aperto; le opere sono state trasferite nella Reggia di Venaria, riaperta al pubblico con la mostra "I Savoia. Arti, guerre e magnificenza di una dinastia europea".
